In todays busy world it can be hard to find the time to exercise regularly. Thankfully, even short workouts are very beneficial to the body and can improve cardiovascular health and build muscle.
I’m a busy guy and some days there just isn’t 45 minutes to go the gym or go for a walk. This workout is one I use on busy days where I need to get the heart pumping but simply don’t have the time to do my usual workout.
It takes about 10 minutes and I promise by the end of it you’ll know you did some work! Also, its a full body workout so you’ll hit most of the large muscle groups. This workout consists of 3 exercises. The details are as follows:
Go through the circuit 3 times. I usually do each exercise back to back with no rest then rest 1-2 minutes between circuits.
Exercise #1: 10 Pushups
Exercise #2: 10 Bodyweight Squats
Exercise #3: 30 second Plank
If you go through the workout and don’t feel it was challenging enough you can also add the following exercises (note: you will need a pullup bar for one of them).
Bonus Exercise #1: 3 Pullups
Bonus Exercise #2: 10 Lunges
This workout is easy to do, can be modified to be easier or harder and takes just 10 minutes. Add it to your routine and see how you like it. This particular one works great for me!
