Healthy Halloween Slow Cooker Chili!!

Looking for a warm, hearty soup to eat before you go out trick or treating? Or maybe something to warm you up on a chilly Halloween night? This chili recipe hits the spot.


Its loaded with veggies and protein and after simmering in the slow cooker all day the flavor is amazing!  It’s the perfect quick and easy recipe for a fun night like Halloween!


What you need:

1lb ground beef

1tbs ghee or virgin coconut oil

1 large sweet potato, cut into 1inch cubes

1 small onion, chopped fine

3 cloves garlic, chopped

28oz fire roasted, diced tomatoes (pressure cooked for 3 minutes in Instant Pot) *this step is optional.

3 cups beef bone broth

1 tbs chili powder

1/2 tbs chipotle powder

Salt to taste

How to make it:

Add the oil to a pan and brown the ground beef. Set aside.

In a slow cooker at remaining ingredients and beef and stir well to mix. Set slow cooker on LOW setting and cook for 8 hours.

You can also speed the process up by setting it on HIGH and cooking for 4 hours.
