Why Do Shoulders Make Popping Sounds?

Have you ever noticed your shoulders making popping noises when you move them? Most of the time this is nothing but a joint realigning itself however if the popping for clicking noise is consistent or is painful it maybe something more than just an occasional joint popping.

The shoulder joint is somewhat easy to misalign. You can sleep on it too heavily or it can shift if you lift wrong with it.  Most of the time it self corrects because it is such a fluid joint however it is possible for shoulder misalignments to set in and need some correction, especially if the spine being misaligned is part of the problem.

Fortunately misaligned shoulders are pretty easy to fix.  A simple mid back adjustment and shoulder alignment take care of most cases in just a visit or two.  Combined with a few easy stretches most shoulder problems are just a brief annoyance.  If you’re having shoulder pain or frequent clicking or popping in your shoulders call us today.  We can evaluate the shoulder and get you feeling better quickly.
